Christmas time is lullabyes
There's something in the air
A warm hello, a sad goodbye
A card that says "I care"

But the season sings of something more
Of a humbled birth in Bethlehem
And the Christmas Spirit fills my heart
And the world's not far apart

I want you to know it's Christmas
Every boy and every girl
I'm here to share this Christmas
Right here and around the world

Christmas time is family
White lights adorn the tree
Christmas cheer is everywhere
It starts with you and me

But a copper bell tolls silent
In a far and distant land
So bow your head and say a prayer
With gentle, loving hands

I want you to know it's Christmas
Every boy and every girl
I'm here to tell you it's Christmas
Right here and around the world

Christmas time bestows itself
But only once a year
There's family, friends, food and fun
Glad tidings and good cheer

But if I had one Christmas wish
I think I'd change the way
Peace on Earth would reign everywhere
Just like it's Christmas Day
